I was rewatching this episode and she and Pedro are so charming together I wish we could have had him as the love interest and Riley could have gotten eaten the first episode instead :(

Ugh, Riley. I disliked him on so many levels, even before the weird blood cheating.

I thought Eddie and Buffy had a good rapport right away so I would have been happy having him as a new Scooby, a study buddy, or a love interest.

She deserved to be with an actually sweet guy for once, especially a guy not afraid to be vulnerable.

Riley was the worst, my absolute favorite scene that whole season is the bit where he's so proud of himself for taking down 17 demons and then they ask Buffy how many she killed and she's just like "well....". But then she tried to downplay the fact that she gets 17 a night for his ego :/

I loved that Eddie wasn't afraid to admit he was lost (both literally and figuratively) and that he told her about his bondage security blanket (even if that was just a plot device for when he disappeared), especially when I think about how many obnoxious guys I met my freshman year.
