Pedro Pascal & Sarah Michelle Gellar reminisce about Buffy the Vampire Slayer

On Monday, Sarah Michelle Gellar posted a photo of herself with Pedro Pascal from the episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer where he guest starred as a fellow college freshman way back in 1999. At the red carpet for The Mandalorian S3, Pedro said he just found out about SMG's post and couldn't wait to get his phone back so he could see it for himself. He said, "I want her to know I remember every moment of shooting that episode, as brief as it was. She was such a kind scene partner and we had the best time." In a 2015 interview to promote Bloodsucking Bastards, he said that Buffy was one of the first jobs he got after graduating from college. He said "A movie like Bloodsucking Bastards can exist because of a show like Buffy. My idea of Bloodsucking Bastards was kind of Office Space meets Buffy."
UPDATE! New video from the same red carpet but this interview is where he learned that SMG posted about him on Instagram. The reporter then started asking him a question and he very cutely asked about SMG’s post. He talked about how nice she was to him (they were shooting at UCLA at night because BtVS hadn’t built their college sets yet, and she went back to her trailer to get ice cream to share with him). He also said he was doing a play at the time and he missed opening night because he was shooting BtVS. He said he had to eat lunch with his vamp face on. He described SMG as “incredibly kind” and “the best.”
