i rewatched it in like 2015 when i was in college and i still liked it
for some reason i was shocked at how few episodes anjelica huston was in, apparently the episodes she guest starred in had a big impact on teenage me

In season 4 there is a 2-part episode "Wicked games", that deals with her character's daughter's death, and it's a beautiful monument to parental grief. I don't even like Anjelica Houston, but in those episodes she steps out of her skin to convey that grief.
Overall the series is decent, mostly because of acting and character's relatability.

I can see Renee and Patricia going for the same roles during that era, so this doesn’t really surprise me. However, I forgot that BP was originally supposed to star in The Doors. Val Kilmer owned that performance so it’s weird to picture anyone else in that role.
