Patricia Arquette, 54, almost starred in a Tom Cruise movie.
She had an audition with the A list star, but blew it.
The film was Jerry Maguire from director Cameron Crowe.
The role eventually went to Renee Zellweger, who was a newcomer at the time.
Patricia added that she is just not that great with auditions.
She was also in talks to star with Brad Pitt in The Doors.
Her role went to Meg Ryan and Pitt stepped out of the film with Val Kilmer playing Jim Morrison.
