Ashley Park announced on TikTok that she is joining the cast of Only Murders in the Building for season 3. She will play Kimber, a Broadway actress. Other previously announced S3 cast members include Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, and Jesse Williams.

Yay! She is such a highlight of Emily in Paris. Idk if I could watch the show without her (and Sophie)! I had never seen her in anything (to my knowledge) pre EiP. I am glad to see her booked and busy. Her voice is sooooo good

She has an amazing voice but I hope they don't try and shoehorn in a song for her to sing every episode like they did on EiP, some of the cameos on OMitB (like Amy Schumer and Cara Delevingne, even Sting a bit) feel like they're more about that actor/celebrity having a moment than being about the show or the characters. Shirley MacLaine was perfect though and I have high hopes for Paul Rudd, and Jesse Williams usually blends well, so I'll wait and see how they handle her and Meryl Streep.

I'm hoping that since S3 will be about Broadway, any singing will be integrated realistically like in the context of rehearsal or a performance rather than shoehorned in the way Cara and Amy were.

I get that she's going to have to have one song like an audition or they walk in on rehearsal (they'll probably have a musical episode which I'm mixed on), just please not every single episode. Sting's song was awkward enough lol. I mean Selena Gomez and Steve Martin are also singers/musicians and they've managed to keep that reined in so I hope they do the same with her.

I always admire/secretly curse shows that cast amazing Broadway people and resist the urge to have them sing (I was surprised when they finally let Sutton Foster sing half a song in the final season of Younger).
