It's a fad name. Last five years I've heard of like 5 kids named Nova. If you're into astronomy, choose something else.

NGL I've looked into adopting as a single woman. I'm not gonna pretend i care enough about dating to prioritize that in my life especially with how horrid dating seems to be

Me but with my bff and her kid. I adore her, I'm obsessed and she's my baby but being a whole mom, no thanks

I'd sooner slit my own throat than ever change my mind about it lol

Thankfully I'm very confident in how I feel about it.

Honestly, I don’t understand how people still have children but 👍🏼 to those. Maybe it’s just the people I am surrounded with but everyone I know looks MISERABLE after having children (at least for the first 4+ years or so) and all they do is complain.

We‘ll stick to having a dog, which is sometimes challenging enough for me 😅

The most accurate thing I've heard is that people love their kids but hate parenting. Raising kids in isolation from a wider family is rough.

Both my friends say ofc they love their kids but they don't like them and they fucking hate being moms.

I think there's plenty of space to talk about how blindsided a lot of women get by parenthood. There are aspects of "being a mom" that fucking suck because of how much I'm expected to shoulder perfectly, while my partner gets a gold star for showing up.

I get that that may not be what you're talking about, but I think in general it's more nuanced than whether or not they like their kids.

Having nieces and nephews is what definitely makes me see I don’t want kids. I couldn’t handle them full time. I’m not the type.
