Genuine question: as someone who had a very brief party-lite phase, what does one do for that many hours into the morning (besides drugs) at a party?

Is it mostly sitting around smoking and talking after the dancing is over? hooking up?

You dance, drink, go to afterparties/hook up, talk aaaaa lot, and/or eat at shady places that are open at 4am. That’s how my friends and I spent our partying days anyway. Good times, but you couldn’t pay me to do it now.

are you not spending copious amounts of money for one night

No… well, I didn’t. Idk how much money other people spend, but I’d spend $30 tops. The club entry fee (usually around $10-15) was either waived for girls or we had ways to get in free. So, basically just paid for my afterpartying meal, lol.

Crazy at people who walk the streets barefoot. I'm always scared of stepping into something or puncturing my foot with something!

It's usually rich people, since they can afford great medical care 💅

Yeah, sometimes it's a choice between shredding your feet in/falling over in precarious heels or barefoot, and it's an easy choice when you're shit faced.

I have walked barefoot in London many times, those pavements are not good enough for a heels + clumsy + drunk off my fucking ass combo.

I don't make good decisions 🤷🏼‍♀️

She's young, but damn, she def had a nap. There was some private room with like cucumber water and food for her. Or someone on her team made a run to KFC/taco bell/whatever fast food joint just got her. Maybe she got some rest in the limo.

Maybe a nap...maybe a 'chemical enhancement'

Damn I miss partying

Someone on here said they have friends in their thirties who still have fun house parties every weekend

I feel like my friends were over partying by their mid twenties

Now it’s maybe brunch or happy hour, but it’s not like I’m going to get shit faced at brunch so it’s not the same

<3 i love a good house party <3

i'm in my thirties and i dont plan on stopping partying, although i know that the recovery takes longer than it used to so i can't just party until 4am and go to work/class at 9am like nothing happened. :')

Yeah, my social circle are mid-to-late thirties and the most we'll do is birthday cocktails (the ones who still drink) and a dinner to celebrate.

But I'm good to leave the bar/club scene behind before I felt too old to be there.

I still go like once a year... But it involves me sleeping from 18:00 to midnight so that I can be there when it really begins. lol Oh and I can't even drink alcohol anymore.

But yeah, certainly not every weekend, and certainly no uncomfortable shoes anymore.
