Jesse had to be a bit loser-y in appearance. Plus I think Aaron had a bit more of a homely/townie look whereas Penn has more a brooding cool look. Like both got cast in shows where they fit the look.

It’s always weird when one thing can change your entire life trajectory. Like I don’t think his career would be where it is now if he got that role and he probably wouldn’t be married to who he’s married to. And I wouldn’t have wasted years of my life shipping Dair lmao

dair was literally the only reason i watched the show those last 3 seasons lol. leighton and penn really made that storyline work.
