It's pretty all over the place. Moments when he was angry about the death (grief process) but also recognizing they didn't know the depths of his issues with depression.

Then he goes into bits of how their different upbringings is what made their dynamic.

It kinda bothered me how Howard repeatedly was trying to get Mike to say that Chester was so hard to work and deal with constantly etc.

Howard always tries to get people to spill deets. Most celebs manage to swerve away from it lol.

I've been listening to them a lot lately. Which maybe isn't the best for my mental health.

Linkin Park is one of the few bands where I refuse to listen to all of their songs because then that will be it, there won't be any more. I listen to a new song every couple years. Ugh this band will always have a special place in my heart.

And it's so weird listening to "Lost" and hearing Chester and feeling like he's still here? This band got our little Chicago crew through our emo phase and childhood traumas. I wonder what this generation's band or artist is? I can't think of an equivalent.

They were a staple in my teens but I can't listen to them anymore. It makes me too sad. I still can't believe Chester's gone.

I think(from working with a lot of zoomers) that they usually turn to the soundcloud rappers for that because theres a similar prose in how they write their lyrics. Just a different system of delivery. For instance XXXtentionCord was huge with the post millennial zoomer crowd back in the 2015s or so and there were people in my generation(late 20s early 30s) that were comparing him to the ~deep/emo~ style music of our youth. I never listened to him and still will never because he was such an evil piece of shit but yeah. Kids still run around with his lyrics all over their clothes and tattoo'd on them.
