I really like the song which is nice because I couldn't listen to their songs for a long time. (Still can't listen to Heavy).
You can definitely tell that it is a Meteora song.

love them but disappointed they used AI art for this

I'm not surprised given that Mike and Joe are into NFTs, and I feel like there's definitely a pipeline from NFTs to AI art, but yeah, it's still super disappointing, especially since a large part of LP's identity as a band is their relation to visual arts.

Mike described it in the discord live and also tweeted about it, they didn't use AI to steal other people's art. All the art was original, as was the footage, they just used the AI software to make the original footage look anime like. It was a direct nod to all the early AMVs that people used using LP's music.

AI was then trained on the original anime art, and applied to the Linkin Park footage, to make the band members look like the anime characters.

In essence, the AI was used to visually tie the two forms of original content.

bro mike shinoda from Linkin Park acknowledging amvs just made me irrationally happy.

AMV's is what i started my whole creator journey doing, so regardless of who's amvs they saw, this is cool as fuck 😭 @linkinpark pic.twitter.com/GVdjdcZ0ll

I can’t believe it’s been 20years of meteora. I remember waiting for the radio to play somewhere I belong for the first time so I could tape it.

Just coming in here to say that One More Light remains one of those songs that I CANNOT listen to without tearing up.
