Here is a chapter from it. I would roll my eyes, but the best actors are trained and or at least work with an acting coach on a regular basis.
That is why I watch older films. Everyone came from the theater back than and went to drama school. Acting is an instrument that needs to be practiced and studied on the regular.

"I mean, listen, I can mess shit up in the real world. Don’t give me another avenue."- Jonathan Majors
I'm glad more celebs are slowly avoiding social media, cause they're right. The mystery and allure of celebs is removed with that. Plus Jonathan is right about screwing up irl vs social media. In real life you can screw up and fix it with the grace of privacy whereas online....everybody knows, everybody keeps an archive, and no one forgives.

IA but I imagine it may be a difficult tradeoff for some to make. Some celebrities only stay collecting checks because of their social media presence.

Totally true cause 20-30 years ago, being a movie star was criticized/looked down upon by a lot of the indie/arthouse types. But I think the movie stars def won out...especially financially cause they're not hurting for a paycheck and have the luxury of waiting for a good script or fund their projects instead of constantly fighting.
Another thing is having ambitions or openly talking about is still considered dirty by actors even though 99% of actors are ambitious and awards-hungry but can't say out loud.
