Michelle Williams’ outfit would be really cute if she was going out for like pizza or something.

Brendan Fraser, Cate Blanchett, and Bryan Tyree Henry are in the bacckkkkkk. You would think all the actors should be in the front lol!

Baz and his wife Catherine Martin are cute in the front. I see Kerry Condon.

going through this list i'm annoyed again that judd hirsch got the nom over paul dano who deserved it by miles. the old academy members always eat up a short chew-scenery performance by one of their peers rather than an actually good nuanced performance and it annoys me almost every year

I thought Dano was gonna get in with Hirsch but instead they went for a double Supporting nom for Banshees. Hirsch just had that “five minute performance from a veteran actor” thing that the Academy loves.

I’m honestly starting to wonder if they just have an anti-Dano thing in general, like he should’ve won or at least gotten in for There Will Be Blood!

i fucking hate that shit, very rarely is it awards worthy (rare exceptions include viola davis in doubt) and just feels like a glorified cameo
