I would have been into this a few years ago but the last few packs (with the exception of cottage living) have not done much for me and I'm just feeling over the sims

Same. Every pack is a bigger disappointment than the last.

I'm cautiously excited, although I rarely 'play' the sims, I'm more of a builder.
I hope everyone who has been waiting for a family gameplay-oriented pack like this won't get disappointed though, but I highly doubt the gameplay will work as intended. I mean, there are bugs in this game that haven't been fixed in years.

I'm still hoping to hear that they've fixed all the bugs in Wedding Stories. I love that neighbourhood it comes with but I don't want the wedding gameplay to be buggy so I have yet to download it.

It's a hit or miss, sometimes the ceremonies work and sometimes it's a buggy mess, but the neighborhood is indeed dreamy!

It's about time not to have babies as objects. I don't play with infants/children as much, but I know this was HIGHLY requested amongst players.

For real. babies in the sims 2 had WAY more interactions you could do with them, which is just embarrassing for ts4

That's what I never understood about the Sims. Why have Sims 2 have somethings and not Sims 4? Plus they never go back and fix the issues like they had with Wedding Stories.

felt like the babies in TS3 were a downgrade because they were stuck wrapped in a blanket & you can't even bathe them in the sink. Then TS4 babies seem to basically be like the babies in the original game - which I don't get.

That said I've never played the TS4, I rarely play TS3.

I'm trying not to be so tempted into buying this, it's 40 bucks. I have to see the reviews. Tbh. I spent alot of money on this game..only for it to be getting an error time to time while I play it.

me too i forgot about it and then like full force got back into it during the pandemic but i’m now at the point where i will at least wait a few weeks post release to buy it (cuz at least if it’s broken then that’s time for modders to do their thing)

I envy you guys who play it on the pc. I play it on the ps4, so I have no mods. :[ and have to buy all my packs when they are on sale. But yeah, waiting for the reviews is the best way to go. Though I have still purchased packs that people said not to buy. I think its depends on what you prefer.

yeah I'm gonna wait for the sims youtubers I watch (lilsimsie and deligracy) to do reviews on it because I think they are pretty honest when a pack is not good (like they both highlighted how glitchy wedding stories was and advised people not to buy it)
