I'm cautiously excited, although I rarely 'play' the sims, I'm more of a builder.
I hope everyone who has been waiting for a family gameplay-oriented pack like this won't get disappointed though, but I highly doubt the gameplay will work as intended. I mean, there are bugs in this game that haven't been fixed in years.

I'm still hoping to hear that they've fixed all the bugs in Wedding Stories. I love that neighbourhood it comes with but I don't want the wedding gameplay to be buggy so I have yet to download it.

It's a hit or miss, sometimes the ceremonies work and sometimes it's a buggy mess, but the neighborhood is indeed dreamy!

Same! I like the world and the assets, but never wanted the gameplay… and I esp. don’t want the BROKEN gameplay. I’ll probably wait until it’s $10 and just never do, actual weddings, just parties with elopement, lol. I don’t buy anything Sims until it’s 30-50% off…

Yeah!! That’s what I’m thinking lol I rarely have big weddings anyway. If it’s steeply discounted I may consider it.
