I just rewatched it and you’re right. Growing up with Madonna (and being too young to know she was problematic), she was such a groundbreaker, innovator, and outspoken advocate. I loved seeing her 50s, so I just don’t know if I was naive and she always behaved this way - it just seems she’s coddling to any celebrity around her seeking relevance instead of leading the pack with her legacy.
