, JC and the boys, Nelly halftime show still has me in a clutch hold. That was such a bizarre surprise cast of characters but it worked so damn magically.

I was conflicted because I like those songs. But it felt like they could have been at any concert, and they didn't really utilise the stadium.
Superbowl should be ostentatious and crazy entertaining. Whatever you think of Katy Perry, the huge fucking tiger was wild and not the kind of thing you would usually see.

Prince is so clearly number one that it’s not even funny. The magic of the rain coming down as he sang Purple Rain was unbeatable.

For me, I’d then rank Beyoncé, Bruce, Madonna, JLo & Shakira, U2 and then Katy Perry for the fact is was fun.

Dre & co was nostalgic but I don’t enjoy a half time show in the daylight. You have to have incredible visuals to make up for that and I don’t think they did.
