My friend got me pokemon violet for christmas and i have no idea how to play. I just started grabbing pokemon and when I tried to battle at a gym, I was so unprepared and got my ass kicked lol

I'm sure there's a better and more in depth guide out there, but Violet is my first Pokemon game as well and my friend provided me with this map which pretty much guided me through the bulk of the game. It tells you which order to do everything in and which level you should be at. Very helpful!

i'm back to playing through Legends: Arceus again and bruh, shoutout to that team for going so hard on that Final Battle sequence. it's like they heard people talkin' shit about how easy the games have become and said "lol here's centipede satan" and i respect that so much.

wait did they change things? i thought there were no checkpoints during the final gauntlet, if you lose you have to do the entire thing over again.

Late reply, whoops. I don’t rmr how it was for the other noble pokemon, but i specifically remember that arceus has checkpoints because I was astronomically extremely bad at dodging its attacks.
