Pokémon surpasses the 1000th creature milestone

Game freak has released a video to celebrate achieving the existence of more than a thousand creatures on the famed franchise.

If you were to count the many forms and variations some monsters have, this could have happened way earlier but this is counting entries on the national dex for completely unique monsters.

There are currently 1008 different Pokémon species registered on the dex.
