Dax says he asked for her permission before bringing it up and Kristen said it was fine. When you hear him talk about it, it’s really not a big scandalous thing and he even brings it up again to make sure the audience and Anna knows that Kristen never disliked Anna. It seems pretty innocent and harmless.

I have a really hard time feeling sorry for beautiful celebrities when they complain about their appearance lol but in an effort to be more empathetic, I do think that blonde as the ideal is so deeply engrained in western society that even an objectively attractive person like anna might have insecurities around someone like kristen bell. celebs, they're just like us!!
