At this point, I don’t wanna watch any new shows. Everything just gets fucking canceled and now people are just canceling shows that are already in production/finished.

tbh, this is part of the reason I've been getting more and more into Kdramas. They're generally always only ever meant to be one series so things wrap up nicely and I don't have to worry about something being canceled without any kind of finality.

That's what I liked when I lived in Japan - all shows were miniseries unless they were something miraculously special and got a second series ages later.

For Netflix shows that seems to be the norm :( I'm having high hopes for "The Last of Us" on HBO to not be canceled after the first season.

I watched this, and I thought it could work, but it was honestly so trapped by rich white gays and old perceptions of dating.

I consider myself pretty plugged in to pop culture/entertainment industry, embarrassingly too much into it honestly but I swear these past four or five Netflix cancellations I have never ever heard anything about. Not one mention anywhere. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that their current model of green light everything and then also cancel everything after 1 month is not sustainable and is doing real damage to their brand. It used to be a big deal when Netflix premiered a new original and when it cancelled something like….how can they not see how bad this for their company long term!!

i know this show ended with a cliffhanger for like every character but it was so boring i don't remember what any of them were, except one character suddenly had cancer

I thought this was either a limited series or movie so I’m like???? Lol I never watched it though
