At this point, I don’t wanna watch any new shows. Everything just gets fucking canceled and now people are just canceling shows that are already in production/finished.

tbh, this is part of the reason I've been getting more and more into Kdramas. They're generally always only ever meant to be one series so things wrap up nicely and I don't have to worry about something being canceled without any kind of finality.

That's what I liked when I lived in Japan - all shows were miniseries unless they were something miraculously special and got a second series ages later.

For Netflix shows that seems to be the norm :( I'm having high hopes for "The Last of Us" on HBO to not be canceled after the first season.

Agreed, and there also seems to be a real lack of new shows on network tv lately. Fall 2022 only had like 3 new shows and one of them was cancelled already.
