It’s been 11 months since I got COVID for the first times. For the past 1-2 days I’ve been having some iffy symptoms. I was fighting for my life trying to eat dinner for the past 20 minutes while congested.
I thought I’d managed to dodge COVID this season; my parents both got it, one around Christmas Eve and the other a week later as I was moving in. I’m pretty sure my symptoms are just sinusitis, but I’m going to take a test before work tomorrow so I can be super sure.
My coworker just tested positive for COVID after being at work multiple days with symptoms. She is the 3-4 person at work alone who has had symptoms for multiple days while testing negative, only to come back positive by the end of the week.
a friend tested negative, with symptoms, for 3 days, before finally getting a positive and getting the whole covid collection (lost taste and smell, fever, shortness of breath, etc.)
The fact that people just go into work with symptoms now blows my mind. I know it's often due to shitty working conditions but it's just like...how is this our society?
Sounds like my CEO who showed up to a huge event, hugging everyone, knowing he was covid positive. this man got rid of telemeetings as soon as he could and insisted on removing our mask mandate for in person trainings and other events. america is a capitalist hellscape.
