all those pointless tabs are slowing shit down. also i get notifications but then the likes/retweets/etc don't show up on the corresponding tweet for ages

Yeah! My account was suspended because I said that "Florida was the place were common sense goes to die", lol. They gave me the option to either appeal or delete the tweet (which I did) and after that, my account was still restricted and couldn't access.

Lol! I’ve been using Tweetbot for years and I’m grateful to Local Man for this, really.
This is the thing that will finally break my compulsive twitter addiction, because the official app is absolute ass and I’ve never managed to spend more than 3 consecutive minutes on it before logging out in disgust and frustration.

I use Buffer to tweet w/o going through the app on my phone. If LM fucks that over I will be fighting him.

No need for Musk to shut down the app - at this rate he’ll just make the entire app unmanageable and people will flee in droves once he fucks up some part of it that everyone uses. As it is, it’s laggy and threads have become difficult to read.
