We have a McDonald's international hub restaurant thing in Chicago. I think it's called Hamburger University and they have a rotating catalog of international items that McDonald's serves. I honestly need to get my ass there cuz some of the stuff looked so good.

The only McDonald’s that caught my eye overseas was the one in Japan. But that was in 2011 and I didn’t even eat there. The line was way too long.

Anyhow, I guess good for her. Trying American food in another country. She expected too much.

It kind of reminds me of when I was exploring Sydney and just *had* to go to the Westfield mall there.
Like those malls aren’t everywhere in the US.

My BFs mother got her purse stolen at McDonalds in Paris and in general the city isn’t even that great. Too much concrete and stone, too many people but I prefer cities located by the beach anyway.

ALSO they totally fucked up the Eifel Tower Location with all the extra security stuff. I think you can’t even just stroll around, like underneath it anymore? Or it was a construction when I went the 2nd time? Don’t remember.

And who wants to sit at those cafes? You basically sit on each others laps and can hear everything anyone says lol eh I even prefer Madrid.

NYE in Paris was the WORST. So boring.

We went on NYE 2018 or 2019 to Champs-Élysées and expected a big party with many food and alcohol stands with music, live acts and a big firework (like in Berlin) but there was literally NOTHING but the French constitution being projected on the Arc de Triomphe and people standing around for an hour. It was like wtf? We wanted to go to some bar afterwards but everything seemed to be closed / closing? So we tried to get on the Metro but it was SO full and no Uber available either so it literally took us until 3 am to get back to the AirBnb even though we left around 12:30 lmao the worst flop
