I can see how people think that but I think it was just unfortunate. the article quote I posted kind of explains why they mention HQ in the tweet.

The reason Harley Quinn worked was because none of the violence or language felt out of place. Batman already had adult interpretations so it wasn’t shocking to see it play out on the show. This just feels like they’re trying to be edgy for the sake of being edgy.

yep. plus it goes out of its way to not poochify harley. the show is dedicated to showing her flaws as not just “quirks” the other characters don’t mind while still keeping her a fun character to root for, plus it doesn’t character assassinate anyone in order to prop her up (i was shocked by how much i ended up loving their joker, especially since he’s so oversaturated as a batman rogue to begin with and the sirens are my favorite dc characters). i even loved the justice league in this, i am here for himbo clark
