Ana de Armas Fans’ Lawsuit Puts Studios at Risk Over Deceptive Trailers

A federal judge has ruled movie studios can be sued under false advertising laws if they release deceptive movie trailers.

This comes after 2 Ana de Armas fans filed a lawsuit alleging they rented ‘YESTERDAY’ after seeing de Armas in the trailer.

I would like to sue the makers of spice world for promising me posh spice in a bathroom and never delivering! (I think. She had a line that was never in the movie, at least!)

No it's not. All this suit would do (if it does anything at all) is stop advertisers from misleading customers about thinking a star is in a movie when they aren't
