I had no clue this show had 3 seasons already! Is it good/entertaining? I enjoyed the books a lot but have never been any sort of book purist when it comes to adaptations, so that sort of thing doesn't really matter to me.

It's weird. I think it's the best adaptation so far and the casting is really good! Ruth Wilson and James McAvoy are perfect for Coulter and Asriel. But it's also quite boring? I can't figure out what about it doesn't click for me.

I was really hoping this series would heal the wounds left by the flop movie, but it I was so bored I'm not even sure I finished the first season.

The fact that Lyra is barely in this trailer reflects how I feel about this show.

I watched the whole thing already and they nailed that final episode imo 💔😭 I'll comment more on that next week.

I really liked eps 5 and 6 tho. Like I said weeks ago I knew it was going to be very rushed and not as explored as it should have been but I still appreciate what they did with them <3

I loved seeing all these familiar faces and I liked how they adapted the Land of the Dead. Asriel remains trash and Marisa remains the most interesting character and Will and Lyra continue to make my heart soar and weep ❤️‍🔥 And Mary and the Mulefa are such a nice break from all the gloom and doom in the other storylines 💖

Omg, this has been so amazing!!!! I only could watch episode 5 last night. I'll watch ep 6 tonight. I'm sad it's almost over.

i don't think i ever finished watching season 1, but i have never cried so hard in my life reading a book. although that part was beautiful (i think?), i never want to read it and put myself through that pain again lol.
