Lyra leaving Pan just gutted me.

Ruth and James are perfectly cast. Ruth has been the main reason for watching. She is brilliant.

It finally released on BBC iPlayer so I watched them all and cried in every single episode. Some of it was knowing what was going to happen, nostalgia for the books (they're a big part of my childhood/teenagerhood) and just getting to see things I have imagined finally on screen with good actors.

I liked some of the changes they made. It made for a good adaptation. But I do think that Dafne Keen's acting has got worse?

I recall reading a quote from an actor who said as a child they didn't really think about acting and found it natural but as they grew up it started becoming harder and they had to start lessons to get good again. I think that might be the case for her.

Sadly, I think Dafine is the weakest link in the cast. All of the other child actors are leagues better. The kid playing Roger was just making me cry.

I quite like Amir. Kit voicing Pan is just killing me this season.

Dafne's acting has gotten noticeably worse. She just does this vacant stare a lot now. I enjoyed her in the first season!

Just finished episodes 5 & 6 today, and OMFG....the end of episode 6 had me FULL ON SOBBING. The land of the dead episodes were so beautiful!

I haven't read the books, but I'm really loving this show. IDT I'll be ready for the finale!
