I know Best Actor is weak, but Tom Cruise? I know he used to act but now it’s just reading lines to connect stunts, right? (I could be talking out my ass since I didn’t see Top Gun. I don’t give my money to Scientology)

tbh i haven't been this excited about an awards season in a long time. like, there will be a movie or a performance i really love but the rest i'm meh on, but damn, there are a lot of excellent films this year

I know this photo was totally genuine but it’s also the single best piece of Oscar campaigning I’ve seen in a long while. It really gave him a “story” that could be tweeted and shared. Narrative is so important when it comes to awards season.
