I have some hope because Kit is super passionate about his character and those GoT idiots won't be anywhere near it.

I don't think Kit liked Jon's ending either. I wouldn't be surprised if he STILL hasn't seen the series finale.

He probably thought he could try to salvage Show Jon somehow. He won't trash D&D because he said he owes them a debt for giving him a career. But he and especially GRRM seem on board to fix D&D's story mess.
