They finally started a few days ago!

Yesterday was emotional and &our 1st day. The girls walking onto the set for the first time was like watching history being made. We all held hands and the whole crew did too. then… I watched them become Galinda & Elphaba in front of my eyes. I cant wait for u all to see it too

They haven't announced casting for Dr Dillamond, but there were rumours about it being a relatively unknown actor (so no James Corden hopefully)

Pfannee & ShenShen are Glinda's 2 friends and Nikidik is the replacement teacher who brings in the lion cub, they're in the show but not as named characters. Avaric appears in the books but not in the musical,
