I can't get over how sad it is that he got away with his crimes for so long. Not to mention how few roles and representations there were at the time for the good, wholesome black father figure. He was an icon and he destroyed such a great image. It's such a shame that the opportunities went to a monster when there are so many excellent actors that probably never made it and would've been amazing as the C-sby dad.

There's also a thing that a part of surviving and moving on, sometimes one starts a family, moves, gets kids, really tries to put it past them, until one realizes that they can't. And then they file these lawsuits and are blamed for that.
So it's somehow implied that we are supposed to do all the healing on our own too. Like with rape reporting there should be a chance, that we are not supposed to blow.
I'm angry with you.

Dear ONTD lawyers,
could you please be so kind to comment when does the one year window start per that statute?
And a more general question. As far as I understand, rape cases have to be trialed in the city where rape happened. Does that mean that those incidents happened in NY?

Per google, the governor signed it in May and it went into effect on November 24.

The assault locations for each woman in the lawsuit was listed above.
