The list of things I'd like to go see right now is super long, and our plans finally slow down starting next week until Christmas, so hopefully some of the stuff I want to see will be in my local AMC/indie theater: The Eternal Daughter, Devotion, The Inspection, She Said, All the Beauty and the Bloodshed, White Noise... etc etc. Also waiting for Till to be streaming somewhere.
I thought the book version of Spoiler Alert, but I am absolutely not going to see that shit in theaters because I know it's gonna make me ugly cry. Even the trailer gets me a little.
We also started rewatching the Harry Potter movies over last weekend - I hadn't seen the first two in at least ten years, and it's weird to see the kids so tiny! We're actually seeing DanRad in Merrily We Roll Along later this month, and I am really excited for that.

I will probably succumb to watching Bullet Train now that it’s on Netflix
I want to watch Emancipation but it’s not at my fave cineplex. I haven’t looked at other theatres in the city but I’ll probably end up waiting for Appletv.
Inexplicably The Fabelmans isn’t playing at my fave cineplex anymore like … it was only there one week 👀 it’s at two other locations but boo I don’t like those theatres.
I’ve been on a Wes Anderson kick so I created a list of his filmography and I’m working my way through the ones on streaming. So far The French Dispatch which I loved so I started at the beginning and Bottle Rocket was decent-ok but I see why it was a really good debut for him and The Royal Tenenbaums which I also really liked and Hackman was great.
My Aunt wants to see Devotion and I’m up for it but idk if we’ll ( ... )

That sucks re: The Fabelmans, I loved it.
As for Wes Anderson, I still need to watch Bottle Rocket. I genuinely dislike Rushmore even though a lot of folks love it, but The Royal Tenenbaums is one of my faves. <3

The one I enjoyed the most was The Noel Diary, mostly because of Justin Hartley and Barrett Doss being very good-looking and having great chemistry + the dog was perfect. The plot had some weird choices but overall it was nice.

I watched On Body and Soul on netflix last week and it was magnificent. Had some very graphic moments, but overall, a lovely offbeat film.
