Got my tickets for Wakanda Forever, but am a bit dismayed that even the positive reviews aren’t really glowing and that the film’s length seems to be a common complaint. Also, why can’t it for once concentrate on just Wakanda. Why is it another globe-trotter??

As long as it’s better than the latest Thor and Doctor Strange…

Still want to watch My Policeman this weekend. And looking forward to Our Universe on Netflix

unfortunately i might end up caving and watching spirited, because i love christmas movies enough that i may just put up with the OTT-ness of reynolds and ferrell together

this past week i watched a) ticket to paradise, which i liked! i'm usually a romcom fan but a lot of julia roberts ones have fallen flat for me (was not a huge fan of pretty woman or runaway bride, wanted to love notting hill more than i did) this one worked for me though. also b) enola holmes 2, which was fun. millie bobby brown has a lot of charisma. was happy to see sharon duncan-brewster and [Spoiler (click to open)]himesh patel at the end.

on the list for this weekend are see how they run and (it's been 84 years.gif) don't worry darling

I love that the premise of Bar Fight is a weekly event on soaps. Someone's always getting barred or getting thrown out because they broke up with the landlady's daughter or something. But lbr, Melissa Fumero is adorable enough to make even a flimsy scenario fun.

The Swimmers sounds great.

I was invited a ~mystery screening that was supposedly PG-13 and 151 minutes long (phew) and I assumed it was The Fabelmans, so when it turned out to be Spirited I was so annoyed I walked out and went home, lmao. So if it turns out to be great I'm gonna feel very silly.

I have a lot of WHM homework to get through -- Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Hannibal and The Royal Tenenbaums (long overdue rewatch). This weekend is all about BP for me, but next weekend I'll be scrambling to get everything in before the long Thanksgiving weekend. 😱

I’ve watched several whodunits

See How They Run
Charming whodunit. Not ground breaking but enjoyable. Saoirse is good as the intrepid protégé. Sam seems like he’s in a fog but maybe this was intentional. Still, a fun watch.

Enola Holmes (rewatch)
Whimsical whodunit primarily for the YA demographic but I found it amusing as an adult. Great casting of MBB for Enola and love Henry as Sherlock, he’s a real snack!

Enola Holmes 2
Whimsical whodunit sequel and better than the first whimsical whodunit. Really enjoying this series. MBB and Henry Cavill as siblings, I love it.

Causeway (not a whodunit ( ... )
