Remaining optimistic as much as possible. I tried getting more people to vote so I did my best.

gonna be parked in here alllll night. took an anxiety pill in advance! im in a red state with no hopes of changing but i voted anyway. i want to be remembered right when people read about all this insanity in their history books.

Hoping the rain doesn't dampen the turnout in CA... I know that sounds dumb, but we really do not get much rain.

Since everyone gets mailed ballots in CA now, hopefully the rain won't dampen things too much. People can just drop off their ballots in drop boxes if they don't want to stand in line.

I didn’t go to the gym on Monday and I realized that I’m fully assimilated into the LA lifestyle when a) the rain makes me change indoor plans and b) not going to the gym is a sign of a serious change in behavior. I did vote today though!
