Wow, I thought the extent they photoshop pictures for magazines was already ridic but leaning on the pinch tool this hard on this man's face is a step too far I think.

I appreciate a good old-fashioned scanned magazine post. I remember people doing this in the early days of ONTD.

Thanks, OP. I actually read this.

I know that people are upset about what he said about Keanu (I certainly was disgusted) and some other celebs, but it sounds like this book is really just his way of dealing with his addictions and hoping to help others.

What’s concerning is that his editors didn’t seem to care that the celeb snippets would detract from the main message AND would put him off on a lot of people that would’ve bought the book.

lol yeah I'm in the ~editing industry and I'm surprised this made it past the review process. or maybe it was flagged but he didn't listen? idk. I'd def flag those comments and be like "how about we just don't"

I have an illness that can lead to an ostomy (I don't have one, my doctors went with a different medical device/surgery for treatment). His statements about ostomies in his book are really making people who rely on them to, like, not die pretty upset. There are also a lot of people who have had them for years or even decades wondering how he ended up with feces on his face or having his bag "explode" 60+ times a day - a friend of mine with the same disease who does have an ostomy was talking about it and was like "yeah, that is not a thing".

My friend said the same thing. She said she didn't need people adding to the misconception that she is dirty and would be better dead. She is happy and manages everything with grace - despite assumptions otherwise. If I didn't know her I would've never guessed. As it should be

Happiness is tough for me. I have moments of joy, certainly, but long stretches of happiness, I don't know about that. I think it's because I won't allow myself to have it. I always think something's going to go wrong.

That's been me most of my life.
