If you have an hour or so, this Spice Girls fan-made documentary is riveting.
I remember how SCANDALOUS it was when Ginger left, but i didn't know she left in the middle of the damn U.S. tour, lolz.
It really shows how hectic and quickly a pop star/group needs to work to capture that sweet spot of remaining relevant before it quickly burns out.

Also, Mel B's first solo album is excellent.
But it really was "lets throw all these hot, american R&B producers at you, and see if this'll stick". (Jimmy Jam+Terry Lewis, Darkchild, Teddy Riley, Sisqo, Missy Elliott).

OMG I still love her album so much! Still bitter that "Hotter" was never released as a single tbh. Definitely my most favorite track on it <3

She followed up the light buzz she had for FEELS SO GOOD with the final single, Lullaby.

And years later, her followup album was boring and bland.

I love them so much, I would've lost my damn mind if I were in that audience. Whoever thought of having them on top of those cars deserves a raise. Their rise to world domination with just 2 albums and no manager, pre-social media is insane.

I love the original where they're flying through the city on their hoverboards and then they start going really fast lol when I tell you it gave 10-year-old me LIFE. Queens who invented the cyberpunk aesthetic, bless <3
