Nobel Prize day 6: Economics

The 2022 Nobel Prize in Economics has been awarded to Ben Bernanke, Douglas Diamond, and Philip Dybvig. Bernanke is a fellow at the Brookings Institution and is a former Fed chair, Diamond is a professor of the University of Chicago (because of course they get in on it), and Dybvig is at Washington University ( Read more... )

And to think Ben Bernake's first job was at South of the Border. If you've ever driven I-95 between DC and Florida you know the place.

In SC, right? Used to see signs when I went to see my godmom near Myrtle Beach in the 80s. Went a few times. We were coming from Georgia.
