Slap some pointed, crooked teeth in Bill's mouth and you don't need anything else if he's gonna be the title character

This was originally supposed to star Harry Styles and Anya Taylor-Joy and I've never seen such an epic upgrade AND downgrade in recasting.

now I'm annoyed that we aren't getting a version with Bill and Anya. The universe where it's Harry and Lily must be in the worst timeline lol

Bill and Anya would have been ideal!

Harry Styles? First time I've heard that. Eggers wanted Robert Pattinson for the role but he turned it down, saying the script wasn't "weird enough."

Eggers went home, talked to his brother about it and they began writing The Lighthouse the next day for him. They talked about this at Cannes when The Lighthouse premiered.

The 1979 Nosferatu is one of my favorite films and I really don’t want to see it remade :(

One of my favorite films too, the atmosphere is unmatched!

Haven't seen anything with Lilly-Rose but I'm just glad Anya Taylor Joy dropped out of this. I love her in some movies, don't get me wrong but there's only so much doe eyed blonde waif characters written by men who seem to be smitten by that aesthetic a bit too much, I can stomach...

i mean, lily rose is still a blonde, white waif of a girl, so not much has changed.

True! But I'm hoping her looking less like a scared girl with huge eyes will spare me of that specific trope. Probably being naive though lol
