he stopped in toronto once (he was dressed like a kitty cat for my show) - i'm sure the people actually in the crowds appreciate his care.

anyway kerrang is doing this for clicks so they can fuck off

I was at that show. It was appreciated, I was getting pinned up against the taller person in front of me. The pit actually got more lively when there was room for movement.

???? Are they supposed to want their fans to suffer during a show? Especially with MCR being a band that's traditionally had a pit, of course Gee is gonna say something. They've been around 21 years, they know pit safety.

Did COVID have people forget all social cues/norms?????

I've had the same question in so many situations like even at the freakin grocery store I feel like people are so free with getting right in others' space. And generally people seem less empathetic like the writer here.

I say this as a 90s metal kid. Pits have changed a lot since when I was younger. We watched out for each other back then. I managed to avoid injury in pits at shows like Slayer and Sepultura. Kids these days are crazy & I am glad these bands are watching out for their fans. Fuck this magazine.

I’m a 00’s pop punk kid and honestly even the time from when I was a kid at warped tour to now the crowds have changed so much! People at shows nowadays are so entitled and will do anything to get close upfront at any cost it even if smashes and harms people. rocks shows there is still some semblance of show etiquette but any other genre it’s a complete shit show.

Ignorant edgelord asshole take. Sackable, honestly. Multiple people at Kerrang thought it was a good idea to publish this dreck? Wow.
