Gerard has always looked out for people in the pit!! Kerrang switching up like this 🙄

I saw them on the first for the first time EVER after being a fan for soo long. They were amazing 😭😭 I love the outfits he’s been rocking

I don't follow MCR but I'm very pro using it! I remember when I was a teen rock fan and it nagged me that when I saw female artists like Hayley Williams of Paramore or Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil described as "frontwoman" there was always an undercurrent of 'they are an oddity this is a word that was developed to apply to men only' when it was used by Rock Dudes in those music spaces, lol. So I'm just happy there's an alternative that doesn't emphasize cis maleness as the default and I'm gonna use it for everyone from now on

I would rather pay money to see someone who will actually read the giant ass room and stop their sets to remind people to be courteous and safe than someone who will sing through someone being hurt, if not killed. Gerard did the right thing. He clearly values his fans.

I mean, death and injury from crowd crush also tends "perforate the atmosphere" and "disrupt the flow" so I think Gerard was probably doing the right thing,
