So what happened to “I never said fired”?

Ma’am just ignore it! Pretend it’s not happening, stop answering questions. She’s a liar and a whole mess, but Shia is so far beneath her that his shit isn’t worth her time.

Exactly. Her publicist came out and said that Olivia never used the word "fired". And yet here we are.

She playing semantics again. “He was replaced.” No shit, we can see he’s not in the fucking movie. WHO MADE THE DECISION, OLIVIA? We aren’t fucking dumb, stop thinking we are going to be fooled by “he was replaced.”

this is an absolute mess oh my god REALLY? we all saw the video girl. a mother wolf who protects her female employees lmao, by throwing them under the bus while begging Shia to stay? Florence sure looked like she appreciated that mother wolf attitude at the Venice premiere 🙄

For whatever it's worth:
"Among other things, he released a video that Wilde sent him-apparently before Pugh registered her discomfort with the actor-in which she encourages him to stay on the film, and utters a phrase that could not have endeared her with the true star of her movie: “I think this might be a bit of a wake-up call for Miss Flo.”"

I don't know what to believe at this point, but figured I'd highlight it since people aren't likely to read the entire thing.

yeah like maybe she's lying but it's also possible she asked him to leave / stopped asking for him to stay and just looked for a replacement after Florence told her she was uncomfortable and then to retaliate Shia sent Florence the video? Leading to the rift. idk if she would just completely make this up.
