for every gallon they overspend their property tax goes up $1000, and every 10 gallons they overspend property tax goes up $10,000 and every 100 gallons $100,000. that will get them to reduce their overuse REAL quick.

Lol @ me turning off my shower while I lather up and saving the water from boiling eggs to water my plants. Also the native-planted front yards here in LA look so much better than fucking grass. Honestly hope they make grass lawns illegal here.

yessss there are some really lovely yards with the native plants and drought resistant ground cover! And these rich people have the money to hire the BEST landscapers in the business to make it look beautiful. But they probably see having massive lawns as a status symbol and they can't afford to give that up!

The calcium from the eggshells will definitely help plants; if you have tomatoes they will definitely benefit from this!

I do the same thing, no shame!

It's the opposite of making grass lawns illegal. Some HOAs and even some cities mandate that you have a front yard lawn for curb appeal. People get fined for having a food garden or native plants. It's ridiculous.

If I were rich I would have the most bee/butterfly friendly, water retaining, native plant land possible. Fuck grass and lawns and fuck these people for wasting so much.

I guess Gab Union and D-Wade's pool must be that deep? Cause I've seen it plenty of times on IG....I wonder if that's where most of their water usage is going beside the bathrooms and kitchen???

This is the pool

Probably! Plus I wouldn't be shocked if there were multiple pools on their property tbh

They mentioned they were having pool refilling issues at the source - unless there's a hole (which I think you would notice pretty quickly??) I can't imagine needing to refill a pool this size multiple times?? 🙄
