Brad Pitt is still doing damage control as the majority of the internet sides with Angelina Jolie, even as the bot army attacks ala Depp has begun.
• A source close to Brad thinks Angie is setting out to hurt him by making details public from the 2016 altercation that led to their divorce (FACT CHECK: Angelina filed for information under a Jane Doe, journalists put two and two together, Angie has yet to publicly discuss the incident)
• A source close to Brad claims that both he and Angie have had the documents for six years, and Angie meant to "revive an issue that was painful for everybody and was resolved six years ago." (FACT CHECK: Angelina actually filed to get answers as to why the assault charges were dropped, she knows about the issue because she was there)
• Brad's PR team: "They investigated it...and decided not to charge him. What are the motivations of a person to take up court time and public resources in filing an anonymous FOIA request for material they have had for years? There's only one: to inflict the most amount of pain on her ex...It is harmful to the children and the entire family for this to be made public."
• Angie claimed Brad put his hands on her including grabbing her head/poured beer on her/shoving her, shouted and scared both her and the children, and she claimed there was $25,000 of damage done to the private jet. The altercation began over an argument over parenting. Both parties reported injuries (Angie had burns/marks from being shoved into a bathroom wall and a row of seats, Brad had a scratch on his neck from Angie restraining him when he lunged at Maddox).
• Brad DARVOs Angie: "It's wave after wave of attempts to hurt him. He has remained virtually completely silent (FACT CHECK: he has not) other than to acknowledge things he could do better. He has remained silent on this issue because he knows that's the best thing for his kids, what's best for everybody. He has maintained that stance despite a never-ending barrage of attacks and attempts made to use the courts against him."
