After the FBI domestic violence report lawsuit that Angelina Jolie filed as a Jane Doe went public last night, Brad Pitt has gone running to TMZ.
Brad's "sources" claim the information Angie is trying to obtain through the FBI and a FOIA request is info to which she was already privy (keep in mind Angie filed to know why the case was dropped, not to get information about the case), and thus she only filed it so the media would talk about it and drag him through the mud. While the lawsuit was filed anonymously back in April, TMZ has since confirmed Puck News' assertion that Jane Doe is indeed Angelina.
From Puck: Jolie told the special agent that Pitt was drinking and had taken her to the back of the plane, according to the agent’s notes at the time. He allegedly grabbed her shoulders and shook her and yelled things like, “You’re fucking up this family.”
Later, during this same flight, another physical altercation allegedly took place, and Jolie said she sustained injuries; she gave the agent a photo of her elbow in an attempt to corroborate this. At another point, Jolie says Pitt poured beer on her. (Pitt’s camp has denied any wrongdoing.)
After preparing a statement of probable cause, the F.B.I. agent met with the assistant U.S. attorney. They subsequently agreed that criminal charges would not be pursued [due to several factors], according to the case file.
The Brad sources say he was cleared because there was not a shred of evidence to support the claims made by Angelina.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Los Angeles and Angelina had no comment.
