the 2018 one was fine but i don't really care about a new tomb raider reboot

I never saw the movie but not surprised. It's hard to top Angelina Jolie who did look the part.

Plus Alicia Vikander is not a big name here at all unless you're on film twitter and the like.

damn, i liked the first one, and it definitely seemed like it was revving up for a franchise (what isn't these days) but it seemed like it would've been a fun one. the fact that the sequel didn't come out within two years should've been the first sign it wasn't happening

but tbh, i'm fine with a reboot. i think tomb raider is one of those series that works really well with different takes/iterations and has the potential to be a james bond/batman-type franchise, where the continuity can reset after a while without anyone really raising much of a fuss, as long as the material's good

I like the movie even tho it's not the best lol but Daniel Wu was hot and her body was amazing. Wish they could bring him back in the eventual reboot.
