iirc, she did point out the double standard between people like herself and Cameron Diaz. How Diaz also had Latinx heritage but was never asked about it, whereas Alba was born in LA and didn't speak Spanish but because she "looked" Latinx to people, she was somehow expected to be steeped in the culture.

I don't know if I agree with that, I think they've made some pretty big strides over the past years and when you look at the content of Phase 4 so far it's incredibly diverse. I would say, though, they're still quite straight and I don't know if that will ever change in a meaningful way which sucks.

Honestly I hated how much people complained about her lack of blonde hair back in the day, but just SILENCE with the fact that Chris's Johnny also wasn't blonde. Maybe don't cast a Latino woman and a Caucasian as her brother ffs.
Actually I still remember when he was cast as Cap, teenage me was like "is he gonna dye his hair this time?" lol
