I’ve had family lie about pregnancies, terminal illness, and even a rape. (Yeah, best thing I ever did was getting away from those people.) So I believe people are capable of lying about such things. However, I also believe rich people pay off people to cover up crimes like this so, I’m not sure what to believe.
