The final film in the 'After' series comes out Septermber 2022 on Prime Video

This film series is based on the 'After' novels by Anna Todd, which was a Harry Styles fanfic on Wattpad in its first inception.

Has anyone seen these movies? I've only seen the watch alongs with Ellias Reads and ItsCindy on youtube.

I hate that was the indication that time had passed: terrible bangs. They could've cut her hair a little shorter, dyed it. but they went with that bayang 😵‍💫

I saw the first one and I mean, it wasn’t good, but I think it benefited from having a largely uncomplicated plot and a hard lean into the ~aesthetic of angsty young love

All of these stupid ass book adaptations (50 shades, twilight) are often like that - fine at first, with a semi-competent director and smart casting, and then once they try to take the plot past the first book and add in love triangles and raise the stakes, it gets unwatchable. Which is to say I have never even attempted to watch the second one lol

I watched the first one and it's like if cruel intentions and fear (both featuring bb reese witherspoon) had a baby movie it would be this movie, also i can't get over the apartment they rent together, like how do they have that much money?

In the movies, the apartment belongs to one of his father's friends, and they're just staying their temporarily. In the books, he helps pay for it with money he won in a bet... that he could take Tessa's virginity. Which she did not know about and the point of getting the apartment was to isolate her from their friends so that she would not find out.
