That’s scary! I’ve already had to have a colonoscopy and have to go back for another one in the fall and people don’t realize how common complications are. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

I've always thought that it would be easy for doctors to accidentally make a wrong turn with their camera while it's in someone's butt, especially if it's a junior doctor with not a lot of experience. 😰

I hope he'll be okay.

I'm supposed to get a mammogram done because my doctor found a lump, but it's likely just a cyst since I've had it since I was a teen I think. I just haven't had the time to book an appointment.

i got a mammogram done last year for the first time bc i found a lump during a self-exam. it took foreverrrr. waiting and prepping and waiting and then finally the actual mammogram. turns out, it was just a clogged milk duct from my short attempt at breast feeding lol

i'm sure everything's fine; better safe than sorry! my only rec is to bring a book!

I heard clogged milk ducts hurt! Glad it wasn't anything serious.

I know, I really should book. My mom has a lump too so she's supposed to get a mammogram and she's 61. My grandmother passed from ovarian cancer and my dad might have colon cancer, so I'm kinda like ahhhh wtf is this because we never worried about cancer ever in my family until the last few years. :|

Had pancreatitis during my last DKA. Ain't fun.

I see the doc so often during the pregnancy. I have a regular Ob, specialized one, plus my endo. Like almost every week I have at least one appointment. Mostly maintenance since I'm hitting all targets. I had omnicron in the first two months, so we're being extra careful.

Best of luck to him. One of my family members had acute pancreatitis and it's insanely painful and can have lifelong effects.

The amount of visits I forgot to reschedule and then when finally bothered I've been put on an interminable queue.. Ugh I had to go private for my heart or I would have had to wait forever

I haven't even *picked* a dentist since I moved up here. Last time I saw a dentist was February 2020 so yeah...Not really in a hurry to be unmasked and have fingers in my mouth
